How we build lessons.

Every Core MBA lesson distills a topic down to what matters. We pull together the best of what's known, keep the few ideas that change a decision, and give you a way to practice them.

The process

Research, distill, practice

01

Research

We start from the established frameworks, primary sources, and practitioner literature on a topic, and map what's actually known before writing a word.

02

Distill

We cut everything that doesn't change a decision. What survives is the smallest set of ideas, examples, and tradeoffs you need to act on. Five hours of source material, distilled into a single lesson.

03

Practice

Reading alone fades fast. Every lesson ships with a decision simulator, a quiz, and flashcards, so the idea gets rehearsed and tested while it's still fresh.

If a sentence doesn't change what you'd do on Monday, it doesn't make the lesson.

Tools

How we use AI

AI is part of how we work, and we'll tell you where. We use it to scan a wide body of sources quickly, to stress-test an argument from angles a single writer would miss, and to get a rough draft on the page fast.

That speed is what buys the depth. It frees the author for each domain to spend their time on the part that matters: deciding what's true, writing the examples, and cutting the lesson down to what changes a decision.

The authors

Who writes the lessons

Each course is owned by an author who covers that domain: finance, AI, growth, law, and the rest. They structure the lesson, write the examples, and check the claims. Every lesson carries their byline and links to their page, so you always know who's behind what you're reading. Meet the editorial team →
